Fabrication Facility

NANA Construction's Big Lake Fabrication Facility consists of a multitude of buildings situated on an estimated 20 acre parcel.  Strategically located, large industrial modules manufactured at this facility reduce the transport time to the North Slope by two days in comparison to modules manufactured in Anchorage. 

The site currently hosts:

  • Module Assembly Building: 14,400 sf, 60 ft wide x 240 ft long with 30 ft eaves. This building is serviced by two, 10 ton overhead cranes and will primarily be used to assemble truckable modules or other large assemblies.

            -90 ton Piranha Ironworker

 

  • Blasting, Coatings and Tank Fabrication Building: 12,480 sf, 60 ft wide x 208 ft long with 25 ft eaves and is serviced by three, 5 ton overhead cranes. This building is separated into two distinct areas: One area for cutting, blasting, plate shearing and rolling, and the other area strictly designated for coatings application. This building houses the following equipment:

             - Motorized roller tables servicing the full length of the building.

             - KMT KS 600 Band Saw - Capable of cutting 20" material

             - Wheelabrator with and opening of 102" x 36"

             - Heller Plate Shear - 10 ft

             - Heller Four Hydraulic Plate Roller - 10 ft

             - Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor - 100 HP

Administration & Change Building: 4,800 sf, 40 ft wide x 60 long, two story building. The ground floor will serve as a break and change area and the upper level will host both and client offices.
